beyond my expectations

Robert Plant was...well, he was Robert Plant. Not at all surprising that the man is a living legend. To begin with, he looks amazing. Though the hair is not electrified and crazy, it's still there, it's still curly and it was styled perfectly. He's in excellent shape and I'm referring to his voice as well. He sang several Led Zepplin songs, but knew his limits and didn't try to make his voice do what he knew it wouldn't. I really appreciated, and frankly couldn't believe, that he added the Minneapolis, State Theater to his tour. I will always remember the event. The songs were performed so well, and all of the band members took their turn in the spotlight. The music event critic for the Minneapolis Star Tribune questioned whether Mr. Plant knew that he was performing in the state where three of the songs performed were written by Minnesota artists (Low-from Duluth, and Bob Dylan from Hibbing). I'm guessing that Mr. Plant was perfectly aware of this. I had tried, along with a handful of avid fans to catch Mr. Plant before he boarded the bus out, but sadly missed him. I am grateful though to Ms. Griffin (of whom I'm also a huge fan), Mr. Miller and Mr. Scott for taking time to sign my poster.
